- 10 magnetic pieces: around 20 x 20mm, 4/0c + gloss lam on 250gsm CCNB + 1.2mm board + 0.6mm magnet
- 6 magnetic pieces: around 10mm diameter, 4/0c + gloss lam on 250gsm CCNB + 1.2mm board + 0.6mm magnet
- 1 box : approx. 320 x 225 x 35mm, 4/0c + gloss lam on 128gsm art paper over 2mm board

Our Solutions for Customer
Printed glossy lamination in puzzle finishing could make the puzzles waterproof, it is very easy and simple. What challenge us is to find the suitable thickness of Magnet for this magnetic puzzle. It can ensure that the jigsaw puzzle has enough magnetic attraction, and it will not be easily shifted or dropped. At the same time, it needs to keep the weight as light as possible to make it easy to carry.
This brings us back to the structure of the puzzle, looking for a solution. Normally, magnetic puzzle is composed of four parts, magnetic board + cardboard + printing patterns + finishing layer. We can’t change the thickness of the finishing layer and printing patterns, only start with cardboard and magnetic board.
We tried to achieve a balanced critical value between these two boards, and did a variety of combination tests as follows,
– 0.5mm magnetic board + 1.5mm cardboard
– 0.5mm magnetic board + 1.2mm cardboard
– 0.5mm magnetic board + 1mm cardboard
– 0.6mm magnetic board + 1.5mm cardboard
– 0.6mm magnetic board + 1.2mm cardboard
– 0.6mm magnetic board + 1mm cardboard
– 0.8mm magnetic board + 1.5 mm cardboard
– 0.8mm magnetic board + 1.2 mm cardboard
– 0.8mm magnetic board + 1mm cardboard
In the end, we provided 3 solutions for customers to choose from,
– 0.5mm magnetic board + 1.2mm cardboard
– 0.6mm magnetic board + 1.2mm cardboard
– 0.8mm magnetic board + 1mm cardboard
The customer considered multiple factors (weight, magnetic attraction, thickness, final cost) and finished product quality, and finally chose 0.6mm magnetic board + 1.2mm cardboard, this option.
They were very satisfied about this option and very appreciated that we could did many times tests and provided 3 samples for them choose. Therefore, we start our happy and long-term cooperation from this order.
